Product strategy and delivery, from definition to launch.
We help product teams figure out what to build, align around it, and get it across the line.
We have worked across the full spectrum of product practice.
Between us, we have defined product vision, made prioritization calls under pressure, built roadmaps that had to survive contact with engineering reality, and shipped hundreds of features and a product from the ground up. We have built product functions from scratch, in B2B SaaS environments where decisions carry real operational weight. When we give product advice, it comes from having owned both the strategic and the execution side of the work.
From idea to launch
We have taken products through every phase: validating ideas before committing to them, defining what gets built, and seeing it through to release.
Prioritization under pressure
We have made difficult calls about what to build next and what to defer, in environments where everyone has an opinion and resources are limited.
Requirements that teams can build from
We have written requirements that engineering teams could actually work from, reducing ambiguity, back-and-forth, and rework.
How we help product teams
Product Strategy & Fractional Product Leadership
If your priorities are fuzzy, your roadmap is unclear, or requirements keep getting misinterpreted, we help sort that out, without the cost of a full-time hire.
A lot of teams know something is off but are moving too fast to stop and figure out what. We bring experienced product thinking, help you figure out what to build and in what order, and get your team aligned around it. We have done this inside B2B SaaS and ecommerce companies, so we know what this work looks like in practice.
This works well for early-stage teams that need to validate direction before committing to a build, for companies going through a leadership or growth transition, and for organizations where everyone has a different idea of what the priority is.
What this can include
Product Ownership
We step in as your product owner, keep the backlog clean, write the stories, and make sure the dev team always has clear, well-defined work to pick up.
Good product ownership is what turns strategy into shipped work. We write and refine the stories, manage the backlog, and work directly with development teams to make sure the right things get built in the right order.
This is especially useful when you're working with an external development agency. Someone needs to own the backlog and write clear stories before the dev team starts the clock. We handle that.
What this can include
Business Analysis & Process Optimization
We figure out what's actually happening, where things are breaking down, and what to fix first.
When a team is moving fast, it's easy to lose sight of what's actually happening in day-to-day operations. We help you step back, see what's working and what isn't, and figure out what to do about it, based on what we find, not on assumptions.
This works well for teams preparing for a vendor selection, organizations heading into an RFP who need solid requirements to evaluate proposals fairly, and teams trying to figure out the highest-impact next step before committing to something larger.

Market Fit Validation & Pre-Build Requirements for a Fintech Startup
Helping an early-stage startup define the product before spending a dollar on development.
Context
An early-stage fintech startup had a clear business idea but no technical team and no formal product definition. They needed to validate the concept, define the product in enough detail for development agencies to bid on, and make sure the money spent on development would actually build the right thing.
What we did
We led the market fit validation process, working through the core assumptions behind the product, identifying the target user, and stress-testing the value proposition before a single requirement was written. From there, we produced a detailed functional requirements document that defined the product scope, user flows, edge cases, and acceptance criteria in terms that development agencies could understand and price against.
We then supported the RFP process, helping the team evaluate proposals on equal footing and ask the right technical questions without an internal technical resource in the room.
Outcome
The startup went from an idea to a fundable, buildable product definition. Proposals from development agencies were comparable and grounded. The decision about which agency to engage was made with confidence rather than guesswork.
